I had the hardest time nursing my first born and these helped him latch! I’ve always heard negative things about giving babies pacifiers but these I kid you not were the only thing that would get him to latch after he used a bottle! I tried nipple shields special bottles and the chiropractor but these worked like magic!
I tried ever pacifier and finally broke down and bought these. I started off buying 1 single one because I didn’t want to drop $50 on them and he took it so I bought 4 more that way we have plenty!
My son has been strictly breast fed with intermittent bottles to prepare for when I return to work but will not take any other pacifier. My IBCLC loves theses for him to, its helped with his latch and overall success for my breast feeding journey. I love how you can also check to make sure they are sucking it properly and if their tongue is raising high enough or not. I wish they had other sizes for the nipples though !
Won’t stay in baby’s mouth. Not worth the hype or price.
I love this pacifier as it is super soft/flexible like a nipple. However, I do think the shape and length could improve a little to promote a deeper latch. My baby tends to suck in the small nipple end promoting a shallow latch and has a hard time keeping it in her mouth, promoting chomping. Of note, she is s/p tongue and lip tie revisions and therapy. Would be a little better if slightly longer!
