It does take some time to get used to it. We've been using it for about two weeks and we still have to help hold it until our baby has full control. I haven't noticed any progress in his latch, so I have nothing there.
I do like that it's truly a soft thin silicone, so it's almost natural/skin-like feeling.
I knocked another star because this one collects a lot of dust, dirt, and hair. Super easily. From day one: it came in a green bag that was impossible to open. The green rubbed off onto my fingers and got all over the pacifier too lmao.
As all the bad reviews said about the material being thin and it collapses that’s partially correct. and that’s why i give this four stars mainly bc the collapsing just means I have hold my finger inside for baby to suck. (which is just more work for me..but anything for my baby) and then I pull my finger out of the pacifier slowly and it remain in baby’s mouth. that’s the key with this pacifier, it is flimsy but you incorporate your finger at first to get baby to la
itch/suck onto it. I like the idea of this because it’s soft like a breast /nipple would be. i’ve heard mixed things about nipple confusion how it is a thing, how it is no such thing but I genuinely believe that this pacifier has saved me and my baby.
