We tried this with our newborn since it was recommended by the lactation consultant to help with her latch. However she can not hold it in her mouth, we have to put our finger in the center and hold it in place for her. Which is fine for oral exercises but not great as a soother. I'm sure it will be more useful when she is able to hold it herself.
Our daughter refused every single pacifier we tried to give her. We found Ninni, and although it took some time to adjust, she loves it! We are slowly acquiring more to have enough for every part of the house. I recommend Ninni to every breastfeeding mom out there now. We love it!
My baby was refusing all pacifiers from birth until now (3 months) and we've tried so many different kinds. The ninni is the only one she has actually taken and successfully used to help fall asleep! It is very soft and does collapse a bit when first put in baby's mouth, so I use the tip of my finger to help her get a latch.
Our 2 month old has been using the Ninni pacifier and it has soothed her many times particularly when transitioning between feeds/wake time and naps. We're happy with this product and is the only pacifier we use with her!
Recommended by lactation consultant. So unnecessary. Extremely expensive, no structure. Baby can't seem to actually hold it in place. We bought two out of excitement and the praise from the lactation team. A rare miss from the experts.
