Can’t believe i spent so much $ on a binky for it to not work. This is binky #5 we tried. Disappointed
My baby is so picky and strange, sometimes he nurses nicely sometimes he bites and fights, I've had to do a lot of pumping and bottle feeding, which has only added to nipple confusion and we have struggled to find a pacifier that he will keep in his mouth. He was refusing to latch every single pacifier we tried and we tried so many shapes and styles. I was feeling burnt out. I googled nipple like pacifiers, and came across ninni co. I didn't have high hopes, as all the others had been rejected. A miracle, he accepts and keeps this pacifier. It's the only one I can get him to keep in his mouth for more than ten seconds. He has even started accepting it at bedtime, and will fall asleep with it. He can still be fussy and not want one at all, but when he's open to it, this is the ONLY pacifier he will take. The price was a little bit of an obstacle for me, so I only bought one initially, but I've just purchased several more (because God forbid I lose the ONE pacifier he likes) it's so soft and pliable and it's so interesting to watch him suck on it (because it's clear) you can see he's working his tongue just like he would to nurse. It's a huge relief to have finally found something that works, especially one that won't add to our current nipple confusion from bottle feeds. My baby loves this pacifier and NONE of the others. This is my third child and my first major struggle with pacifiers, glad to finally have a solution. Long story short if you are at wits end to find something for a picky breastfed baby this might be the pacifier for you!
First pacifier I tried with my baby at 5 weeks old and it was a winner! (He uses the pigeon bottles once a day but primarily breastfeeding and there hasn’t been any nipple confusion).
