they appeared to be very good pacifiers, but in the end she wouldn’t take them. The nipple wasn’t large enough for her to find it and cup her tongue around it. she was only a little under 7 pounds so I thought they would work. But unfortunately, they didn’t work for us.

This is the only pacifier my nursling will suck. Every other pacifier he just chews on, and seems uncomfortable sucking. They aren’t easy to keep in the mouth unless actively sucking (because there’s nothing to grip with teeth). So, my (10mo) has never used it while playing, unless he’s very sleepy. It satisfies his sleep sucking very well. I appreciate that he uses the pacifier to sleep, but is not becoming overly attached to it.

I really wish there were something to hold on this thing. That silicone is a magnet for dirt and hairs, and it is so easy to drop. Plus, if I ever lose one, sheesh, these are expensive.
I also really wish Ninni Co would create a glow in the dark pacifier. These things are nearly impossible to find in the dark. They’re so soft, and quiet. I found an Etsy seller who makes glow in the dark pacifier add-ons that can loop through one of the little holes.

These new pacifiers have helped my baby latch while breastfeeding. The other pacifiers he had was causing confusion. Since getting these he does a deep latch. The material is so soft. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t hold shape when beginning usage. When baby is learning the pacifier or is fighting it because they want to use you as a pacifier (literally not hungry just wanting to suck) these pacifiers will bend in causing them difficultly to latch. I have also tried bending the base of the pacifier as when you breastfeed it’s good to pinch the breast to help baby. When doing that with the pacifier, it caved in. The pacifier ultimately goes back to its original shape but at times it is difficult to get baby to take pacifier. He does seem to enjoy these better than any others we have tried. I have also noticed it does seem to fall out of his mouth more easily than others.

We bought the 2 pack when I was just so unsure if babe was sucking well. He is my first, so I truly had no idea and was worried about everything. Being able to see oral motor function brought so much peace of mind.
I will say that it isn't something he just took right to and I know that there is a learning curve with this paci and we honestly didn't push it or keep trying. But just the two times he used it alone was worth the price.
Fast forward to 8 months old and he loves this thing and is more able to make it work. So peace of mind as a newborn, tantrum stopper at 8 months. Absolutely worth it.
