This pacifier was recommended by my daughters myofunctional therapist and it is the only one she will use. She has a tongue tie and we have been using this pacifier to help her latch. After using this for about a week she was finally able to use a bottle.
Pacifier is perfectly shaped but it’s way too soft. It just collapses when you put it in babies mouth. It will collapse unless you hold a finger in the hole the whole time you are trying to get baby to use it, which defeats the purpose. Really was hoping this would be the answer to comforting an EBF baby that constantly wants to nurse or use mom as a pacifier.
We tried every brand pacifier with our exclusively breast fed, fussy, 2 month old, from when she was born, and she refused every single one. I ordered the Ninni and she took it on the first try!!! She loves it. And now since having the Ninni for 2 weeks, she took her first bottle. Which is also a huge win, The ninni made her comfortable with the nipple which led her to be ok with taking a bottle. Thank you Ninni for giving this mama a break from the fuss and now the freedom to give her a bottle.
There is no stability in the pacifier. It is really thin and flimsy!!!
